Creswick historic township
A former gold town about twenty minutes from Ballarat with intact historic buildings, the Creswick Woollen Mills and the lakes and waterlilies of Calembeen Park.
Creswick sits between Ballarat and Daylesford, around twenty minutes' drive from either, and pairs naturally with Clunes and Learmonth on a goldfields touring day. The town centre retains substantial historic buildings, including the former Masonic Lodge, bank and post office buildings and the local historical museum.
Creswick is also home to the Creswick Woollen Mills, which operates a visitor experience, and to Calembeen Park with its twin lakes, waterlily displays and birdlife.
Part of the Learmonth, Clunes and Creswick day loop; a practical food-and-fuel stop when touring from Learmonth.
