Paid placement on this site is always visible as paid placement. This page sets out the rules.
Sponsored listings
Businesses can pay for greater prominence through enhanced, featured or sponsored listings. Sponsored placement always carries a visible label on the listing itself, and paid listings still pass the same verification as free ones. We do not sell editorial recommendations.
Display advertising
The site reserves fixed advertising positions that are switched on only when a campaign is live. Positions are labelled as advertising and sized in advance so pages do not shift as they load. We do not run auto-playing media.
What we refuse
We refuse advertising presented as independent editorial, undisclosed paid links, and campaigns that would require us to publish unverified claims about the district.
